Teaching

My teaching experience encompasses undergraduate and graduate instruction in economics, econometrics, and public policy. Over six years as a Teaching Assistant in UC Berkeley’s Department of Economics, I contributed to twelve courses ranging from introductory undergraduate economics to graduate-level development economics. I have also served as the primary instructor for a course on economics and public policy at UC Berkeley’s Goldman School of Public Policy.

My teaching portfolio includes econometrics, microeconomics, global poverty and impact evaluation, and international development, and I have taught both undergraduate and master’s students.I find teaching deeply rewarding and am committed to continually developing my pedagogy.

In 2026, I earned UC Berkeley’s Certificate of Teaching and Learning in Higher Education after completing a comprehensive program of pedagogical preparation through the GSI Teaching & Resource Center. The program included a graduate seminar on teaching and learning, teaching workshops and a conference, classroom observation and consultation with a faculty mentor, the development of a course syllabus, the use of mid-semester evaluations, and the creation of a teaching portfolio.
